About:

We played our DIG PINK game against Miller Place on October 7th

Junior Varsity played at 4:00 and Varsity played at 5:30 immediately following.

We have 24 girls in our Varsity and JV girls volleyball program all of which participated that day. Our coaching staff is Debra Urso, James McLoughlin, and Tiffany Rowan.

We also invited the Varsity cheerleaders to cheer for our game as well, they wore some pink also. It was a really fun evening.

The gym was turned pink from signs, streamers, balloons, Pink Uniforms and even a Pink Volleyball.

asked student Emily Llewellyn to sing the national anthem (She did an amazing job!)

The entire week the girls sold hair ties, baked goods, raffles (graciously donated by parents and several buisnesses), tshirts, and tank tops at lunch and also throughout the game.

They really were Digging for a cure! T shirts for suffolk county volleyball can still be purchased through the side out foundation https://www.side-out.org

We raised $1012 which will be donated to the Side Out Foundation

This game is an annual event for us and all of our Suffolk County Volleyball teams. It is a great event where our student athletes and our community get together and dig for a cure.
